Discover the Treasure of the Holy Spirit

As we’re reading today in the second chapter of Acts, the arrival of God’s Holy Spirit was a powerful moment.  A day in history that forever changed the course of the disciples’ lives and the generations that followed. Even 2,000 years later, the Spirit’s Presence can be felt, seen, and heard all around us. No matter what our denomination, once we’ve been bought with the Blood of Jesus, we can expect to discover the treasure of the Holy Spirit in all His fulness. Learn why in this episode of Sincerely Yours.

Today’s Reading

“On the day of Pentecost, seven weeks after Jesus’ resurrection, the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from Heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm in the skies above them, and it filled the house where they were meeting. Then what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.” – Acts 2:1-4
