Stop Seeking the God You Expect

Sincerely Yours #184

It’s been said that the turning point in our lives comes when we stop seeking the God we expect and start seeking the God Who is. There is no better example of this than in the 24th chapter of Luke where Peter, who had recently denied even a slight association with the arrested Jesus, finally understood the immense love of God.

Today’s Reading:

“They told the apostles what had happened, but the story sounded like nonsense, so they didn’t believe it. However, Peter ran to the tomb to look.” – Luke 24:10b, 11, 12a
