Alison Witt Reveals God’s Hand in New Beginnings

WikiGod #27: Alison Witt

Welcoming Refugees with God’s Love…

This week we are wikiing God with Alison Witt, one of the founders of Micah House, which provides refugees with food, shelter, and community. Alison shares with Mark that God was priming her for this work from a very young age. She explains that God created relationships that unfolded into a vision. More importantly, how that vision unfolded into a home where families find new beginnings.

What’s On Episode 27:

  • welcoming and walking alongside people of different cultures seeking to become acclimated to a new one
  • global forces that are creating record numbers of refugees
  • how the world and Canada are responding
  • what it’s like to arrive in Canada as a refugee and the origins of Micah House
  • the theology that drives her and the small things we can do to make a big difference
