Our Victoria Day marks the real birthday of Queen Victoria on May 24, 1819, but her Gracious Majesty wasn’t always so sure on God’s grace. After attending a service in St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Queen asked her Chaplain, “Can one be absolutely sure in this life of eternal safety?” He knew no way to be certain. However, one quiet and unassuming evangelist did and wrote a letter that would change her faith forever.
