May We All Love Just Like Jesus

Jesus said we are to love each other just as He loves us. That’s certainly a tall order to fill. How did Jesus love us? Fully? Constantly? Unconditionally? Jesus loves us beyond our numerous shortfalls and in spite of our lack of lovability. And Jesus’ love for us does not depend on our love for Him. With all of this – knowing us thoroughly – He loves us willingly. And we are to do the same for others. Now before you write this off as impossible, let’s try to put this into perspective on this episode of Sincerely Yours.

Today’s Reading

“So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are My disciples.” – John 13:34, 35
