Polycarp was a 2nd-century Christian bishop of Smyrna and likely the last surviving person to have known an apostle, having been a disciple of John. He is also the first recorded martyr in history outside of the New Testament. Let’s look back on his life and death on this episode of the Hugs From Heaven podcast.
