The Sweet Spot #29

Cheryl Nembhard is back for a second episode with Mike and Diane. Last week, she spoke about her latest project, TRUTH, a film that tackles the issues of abuse and trafficking. It is something she has experienced first hand in her life. Cheryl’s personal testimony is painful and difficult to digest, but ultimately encouraging and empowering.

After being sexually abused as a child by her Sunday school teacher, it was difficult to reconcile the hurt she felt in the church and God’s love. It was the start of a very dark path, including violence, gangs, and more abuse. However, throughout it all, God was guiding Cheryl. And she explains how she finally found hope and restoration on this episode of The Sweet Spot.
